Without dreams we reach nothing. Without love we feel nothing. Without God we are nothing!
When David went out to fight Goliath, everyone around him said, "David you can't do it." But God put a sense of "knowing " within him, that made him believe that he would succeed in the name of the Lord. When King Saul decided to let David fight, he gave David his armor, but he said "it had not been proven." Meaning it didn't fit, he hadn't used it before. He knew he was supposed to go in the name of the Lord with only his slingshot.
If you have battles to face in life, don't let others tell you how to fight. God will personally direct you in the way you should go. His word is your weapon. That is why it is a necessity to arm yourself with knowledge and spend time in the presence of God before you face any giants!
WORDS OF WISDOM
I have faced so many storms in my life, some were like the quick afternoon storms. These are the common summertime ones that may only last a few moments. But then there are those that seem like category four hurricanes!
However, if I have learned anything about weathering those storms, it has been that they don't last forever, and if I keep looking to God, and trusting His guidance, I'll make it through. I also learned that I don't need to make major decisions in the midst of them. Keep faith in God, He'll see you through every storm, no matter how big or small!
Every day you need to give yourself entirely to God. Say, "Lord, I am yours. I want to be a vessel fit for your use, I dedicate myself to you. I give you my hands, my mouth, my body, my money, and my time. Father here I am. I am yours, do with me whatever you want to do today."
Once you dedicate yourself to God, go on about your business, but expect His leading all day long. Listen for His voice to direct you in the way you should go. Accept the challenge to be an instrument for God's use today.
When you can't control what's happening, challenge yourself to control the way you respond to what's happening. That's where your power lies.
